{Brian and Nichole}

    When Nichole contacted me to shoot her and Brian's 1920's art deco style wedding, I was more than thrilled to be able to capture this stunning winter wonderland wedding, set high above the Cincinnati cityscape.  When I arrived at my raven-headed bride's home, she was enjoying mimosas with girlfriends, getting her long black locks curled tight, and excited to begin a glam wedding day that would trump even the Great Gatsby.  With a breathtaking rhinestone hairpiece, dazzling rhinestone heels and fire engine red lipstick, Nichole more than played the part of a vintage Hollywood star.  

Even though, I know that they were expecting to have the Cincinnati skyscrapers as their ceremony backdrop, this record breaking winter has provided Ohio with unexpected amounts of cold and snow.  A complete whiteout, provided by the one and only Mother Nature, turned out to be this couple's backdrop.  Luckily, there was about a one hour break in the snowfall that evening, around sunset, where I was able to grab Brian and Nichole and pull them outside for a brief amount of time.  Seeing Nichole's tiny toes, peeking out from the shimmer of the stones in her shoes, Brian scooped up his new bride and playfully ran through the snow with her.  It was precious and perfect.
